Continuing Education
We provide programs that focus on providing education and training opportunities that allow healthcare professionals in the area to stay in their communities and receive high quality continuing education opportunities.
The programs are developed based on needs assessments, both formal and informal. These needs assessments are designed to address practice gaps and the needs of the practicing community. We also work to put together programs based on new laws, regulations and licensure requirements.
The Northeast Kentucky AHEC is an accredited provider of Category 1 Continuing Medical Education provider through the Kentucky Medical Association and an accredited provider of pharmacy continuing education through the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
