Megan McNeal joined the Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (NE KY AHEC) in 2019 as an educational assistant in the continuing education division, specializing in the development of accredited health care-related programs for existing medical providers. In 2021, Megan was promoted to Education Coordinator. 

Prior to AHEC, Megan worked alongside St. Claire Healthcare clinicians in positions related to patient care and has been able to retain favorable relationships with providers throughout the community.

Since being with AHEC, Megan has implemented a robust plan of activity promotion, as well as distributed and analyzed various assessment and survey methods for inter-professional health care providers.

Megan also has experience in grant work, managing a project for the National AHEC Organization, distributing marketing materials for maternal health professionals within the NE KY AHEC’s 17-county region.

Megan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2019 and Master of Business Administration Degree from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022.

Fun Fact:  Megan's great-great-grandmother is from Sicily and she aspires to travel to this region to learn more about her culture.
