Amelia Blevins joined the Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center in September 2022 as an Educational Assistant. In this role, Amelia will aid the Health Careers team with health careers promotion and facilitating educational activities/presentations. She will also perform various routine and complex clerical work to support effective and efficient operation of the Northeast AHEC office.

Amelia was raised in Sandy Hook and it is there she resides on her family’s farm with her two goldendoodles (Doug & June). She has a varied work history in healthcare and business that has prepared her for role, with plans to further her education for a degree in business administration. In her spare time, Amelia likes to read, cook, and spend time with her family.

Fun fact: Amelia’s now home was once her childhood church.
