Health Careers Promotion

Health Careers Promotion focuses on high school students and those enrolled in health career training programs at post-secondary institutions.

As part of the NE AHEC health careers pipeline initiative, the Health Careers Promotion division plays an integral part in building interest and desire from regional students to pursue a health care career.

Programs within the Health Careers Promotion division include: School Presentations, Rural Health Scholars, Health Career Investigators,​ Job Shadowing, Summer Health Internship Program (SHIP), Kentucky Rural Health Association Student Chapter, AHEC Scholars, CHARGE High School,  CHARGE College and Successful Training and Educating Pre-medical Students (STEPS).
