Katie Allen joins NE KY AHEC team

NE KY AHEC staff welcomed Katie Allen as the new Educational Assistant in September. Katie is originally from Winchester, but now resides in Morehead. She recently earned her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Morehead State University.

As the Educational Assistant, Katie will be aiding the organization across multiple divisions but particularly within the multiple substance use-related grant projects. She will be taking charge of data collection and organization (which inform not only required grant deliverables for the funder but also future project applications).

“I am very excited to get started working on all grant opportunities,” Katie said. “I look forward to serving the people of our service region and learning about so many different things in the process.”
