Kellie Jones Promoted to Assistant Center Director

The Northeast Kentucky Area Health Education Center (NE KY AHEC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kellie Jones to Assistant Center Director, effective Nov. 10. Jones joined our AHEC in June 2024 as the Lead Health Careers Coordinator.

During her time as Lead Health Careers Coordinator, she played a key role in expanding student outreach, strengthening regional partnerships, and overseeing health preparatory programs. Her leadership contributed to significant growth in career exploration initiatives and collaborative community projects across the region.

In her new role, Jones will support the Center Director in strategic planning, program development, and operational leadership. She will continue to support and strengthen the mission that drives our center.

Kellie shared her excitement about the transition, saying, “I am honored to step into this position and continue serving the region I care deeply about. I look forward to supporting our team, students, partners, and programs in new ways!”
