Northeast KY AHEC adds five new staff members

A combination of new funding and a couple of staff departures has prompted the Northeast Kentucky AHEC’s recent addition of five new staff members.

  • Sydney Lilley, a resident of Fleming County and University of Kentucky master’s graduate, joined our AHEC as an Outreach Services Specialist on July 13;
  • Abbi Hager (a resident of Morgan County; formerly a substance use educator with Juniper Health, Inc.); Katie Burton (a resident of Rowan County; formerly a teacher in three northeastern Kentucky school systems); and Tanner Lewis (a resident of Rowan County; recent Morehead State University exercise science graduate) joined our AHEC as Health Education Coordinators on Aug. 10; and
  • Kelly Dickerson (a resident of Bath County; formerly with the Kentucky Career Center and Bath County Schools) joined our AHEC as Continuing Education Coordinator on Aug. 24.

“I’m thrilled by this infusion of outstanding new talent into our staff,” said David A. Gross, director of the Northeast Kentucky AHEC, “Sydney, Abbi, Katie, Tanner, and Kelly have varied experiences and skills that will benefit our team and this region in meaningful ways.”

The Northeast Kentucky AHEC has a mission of building a healthier future across its 17-county service region through education, outreach, and partnerships.
