One of the NE KY AHEC's Summer Health Internship Program (SHIP) participants, William "Garrett" Pelfrey, had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Steven Stack, MD, MBA, FACEP, the Commissioner of the Department of Public Health, at his host site location at the Powell County Health Department. Dr. Stack is visiting rural health departments to help ensure efficient vaccine distribution. It was a great pleasure for Garrett to speak with Dr. Stack one-on-one during his internship at SHIP.
